Picturian Cloud

Picturian Cloud is not only a completely new web portal but also a completely new way of doing business. Allowing a photgrapher to conduct their business from anywhere in the world. We do not mean just posting images on-line for viewing or for sale but your complete business operations. Including several functions that focus specifically on the emerging area on-line marketing and publishing. Picturian Cloud resides on your own website with your own domain name, email, etc. Which means that unlike most other services that offer an area on their websites Picturian Cloud only promotes you, not other photographers and the hosting service. Picturian Cloud is named for its philosophy rather than the web technology, though it can be deployed on an Internet Cloud if you wish. Picturian Cloud is not a single application but a cloud of an ever expanding group of optional modules that can be implemented as required in a fully customizable framework. Some of the functionality available in a Picturian Cloud Portal are:

• Image Import - The only client based Picturian Cloud module Picturian Desktop, allowing rapid sorting, catorgorizing and uploading of images.
• Image Catalog - Captioning and keywording new images and adding them to your Image Library in a user defined folder.
• Image Search - Images in the library can be searched for by Subject, Caption, Keyword.
• Topics - Picturian Topics are images that have been grouped by bodies of work, for example subject, location, time or similar content. Topics are stored in an hierarchical structure with any Topic can have multiple child topics
• Preview Download - Authorized clients can download preview sized images viewed in searches or Topics.
• Lightboxes - Authorized clients can create lightboxes of image view in searches and Topics. Allowing clients to review images with clients without the need to download.
• Image Delivery - High resolution images can be delivered without the need to have all your original images on-line, which takes a high amount of disk space and a security risk. Picturian Cloud communicates with Picturian Desktop and uploads or transmits the Original high-resolution original images only on request
• Contact management - Picturian Cloud  allows you to keep in contact with your clients, through email newsletters, blogs, and forums.
• Social Networking - These days individuals and businesses can not ignore Social Networking Websites such as LinkedIn, Facebook , etc. Picturian Cloud acts like the central hub of Social Networking, the sites all link to Picturian Cloud and Picturian Cloud links to the sites, publishing content to them simultaneously..

Picturian Archive

Picturian Archive is a subset of Picturian Cloud desgned for companies that have a large number of images to track, such as corporations, museums, etc. Images are grouped by Topic and can be viewed and downloaded by authorized users.
